The Aux. Blowers are series of centrifugal fans specially designed for use in association with the turbo charging air system of main diesel engines.
The Aux. Blowers will start operating before the engine is started and will ensure scavenging of the cylinders in the starting phase, which gives the best conditions for a safe start.
During operation of the engine, the Aux. Blowers will start automatically every time the engine load is reduced to about 30~40%, and they will continue operating until the load is again increased to over the approx. 40 ~ 50%
